“I have an Orbi 970 series BE 27000 router with 3 satellites. My question is can I connect the router to a power strip outlet or will this cause the router to drop offline? I’m connected to a Spectrum modem model DOCSIS 3.1”

I would recommend plugging directly into a battery backup device rather than a power strip outlet. This will allow you time after a power outage to power down the router. (I also own an Orbi 970 series router).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I presume that you are talking about disconnecting the power supply from its current plug and inserting it into a new power strip. It's been my experience that unplugging the router or the satellites will cause them to drop offline. My system (only one satellite) "renegotiates" the attachment once the router is plugged back in.
