“This device randomly crashes with enough Wi-Fi devices. I have been on Netgear support for 3 months without any help or a RMA. Has anyone gotten this device to run for 1-2 weeks without a crash (as indicated by Netgear's own debug "System Uptime")?”

Update: I received a new mesh system from NETGEAR support and the new system works flawlessly in the exact same configuration. I just had defective hardware.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check if you have a switch or secondary router in between the Orbi and your modem. These are known to cause issues with Mesh systems. I'm on my third Orbi system and whenever I had issues it ended up being a switch or connector/cabling issue. Also check for possible interference you might have from nearby equipment. Took me months to figure it out, so maybe this will save you headaches. Regards.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've been a diehard tech user and have upgraded mesh units along the way. Nine months ago, I upped our game with the Netgear Orbi 970 Series BE 27000. We, too, have been getting the wifi to drop on occasion - too many occasions. Discovered that other tech, in our case APPLE 4K units were sending AC back to satellites via CAT6 cable(s). The noise was signalling for the satellites to restore. I used a voltage meter to confirm this. We did away with the APPLE 4K's and simply stream via the LG's. No more drops and restarts. Whoever said that it was old hdwe essentially was right.
