• Yes, this works with an Arris modem from Optimum. That is the same modem we have. The Orbi will replace your existing wireless router. You’ll set up a new Wi-Fi network and the satellite will be associated with it, ie on the same new Wi-Fi network, providing continuos and seamless connectivity in those places in your home that are currently spotty. The instructions are fairly straightforward. I had an initial misstep but was able to recover without contacting their technical support. But I can say that it works very well. Our dead spot was in our daughter’s room and if it hadn’t worked, we’d have heard about. She is very happy.
