It should pick up your network first. As long as you never logged into your neighbor, you will be good. Also, turn off “ask to join networks” in your setting on your iPhone so and iPads. Then you are 100% good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That will always happen, no matter what system you have... your phone will always pick up any signal it has access to.... it is your job to select the system you have and connect it...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First question back at you would be why do you need a Geek to setup your router? The instructions that come with it are very, very simple and you'll be up in minutes. But to answer your question, once you establish your new Orbi router as yours and then connect to it (with your passcode/password that you create) via your phone, laptop, ipad or whatever, it'll become your automatic connection. You will always see your neighbors or any other wifi connection option if you have your device set up to show existing wifi connections/options but it or they won't try to connect to those once you establish your own and your devices. It won't cancel them out but your new connection will always have precedence so it'll be like they're not there. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have your neighbor's networks stored on your devices, "forgetting" them in the settings may prevent them from connecting automatically. While you may still be able to see them in the WiFi list, your devices will connect to your Orbi network automatically once you've stored the password in your settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Most wireless networks broadcast their SSID (the network name) by default to make it easy for people to connect. The neighbor who is broadcasting their SSID would need to turn broadcasting off. Hope this helps...
