• as long as your modem can provide an rj-45 connection and an IP address to the ORBI you should be able to use it.

• As long as your modem has a LAN out connection, it will work. The Orbi needs an internet signal and it will do the rest. From your pic, it looks like there are 4 Ethernet connections. Any of these should work.
