“When you connect to the router with the orbi is there some kind of security like a password to gain access?”

• Yes, but if you approve the connection on your phone App, no password is needed. FYI, the password is located on the sticker and underneath the main router.

• There is a user id and password that is supplied by NetGear/ORBI. You use the ORBI app to setup the hardware. You can login to the network via the app OR a web browser to perform any configuration.
