No. Netgear Orbi requires a main (or base) unit at each home that will connect directly to your ISP's modem, but you can have multiple satellites at each location. When I purchased my units (1 starter set for a smaller home and 1 starter set plus an additional satellite for a larger home), Netgear only sold 3 kits (the main unit with one satellite, just the main unit, or just an additional satellite).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Only 1 is configured as a base station.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. In a set of three, one is a router, and two are satellites, that require the router device to work properly. You'd be better off buying the two pack, and then buying another router device individually.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the second house is near enough where the satellite can still connect to the router, it's possible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The additional satellite would have to be in the receiving zone from the router. If the house was close by (next door) it might be possible to have a viable signal.
