Your source fiber optic cable must connect to a modem and then you can connect your Orbi to the modem. If your modem already broadcasts wifi, best to turn that off/disable in settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Highly recommend this Orbi in lieu of your router/modem combo. You can simply get rid of the router and use a simple modem connected to the Orbi router base. From there, you should be set. This worked for 6000 sq ft home with router in basement, and satelite on top floor. Worked like a charm. Y
