I can only say mine became a lot faster. It would really depend various factors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your house is 4000 square feet or smaller all you will need is the Orbi ac3000 and your whole house will have great coverage and speed.. I have the same modem with 100 mbps and the Orbi ac3000 when I do a Speedtest I get speeds 103-113 mbps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 100 Mbps down and 25 Mbps up through Time Warner cable. The Orbi mesh gets the same as my Arris cable modem router wifi, which I only use to compare speeds. I've set up the Orbi so that the "router" is hardwired to my cable modem port, while the satellite is not. Router is upstairs in front part of our house, satellite is downstairs in the middle rear of the house. (4500 sq ft) So far all works great and consistent throughout. Also my Orbi router is in Access Point mode while the Arris handles routing and cable modem duties. I don't know why you're losing speed with your current setup, whereas I'm not. Maybe try the Orbi and see if it improves?
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You will see science as soon as orbi up and running on wifi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on a number of factors. Our RBK50 Orbi router system supports combined WiFi speeds of 3,000 Mbps (1733 + 866 + 400Mbps) on the AC3000 Tri-Band mesh network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
