• Just a router and Satellite. It acts as one network unlike a regular extender but you must have a cable or DSL modem to connect to.

• No. This come with router and another device as Satellite. you need a modem to work with your ISP.

• The Orbi system comes with a router and a satellite to create a single high-speed mesh network in your home. The satellite differs from an extender in that extenders create their own WiFi networks to expand your coverage. You will still need a separate modem, however, as the Orbi does not include modem functionality.
