yes I have the 5000 sq ft Orbi in a 2000 sq ft home and the signal reaches out way beyond my home into he back yard and front yard not sure on vertical coverage. we have Frontier we have CAT 6 cable into the Orbi they are OUTSTANDING I get 150 /150 wirelessly and each hub has ethernet plugs fastest device I ever used steady signal we run a smart home on it so I have 15-20 connections at any time on the network.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can. You'd have to configure the devices to work in bridge mode and turn off the wifi on the ATT modem. Then the Orbi can run all of the wireless activity. It does a great job with signal quality. I bought the pair, but the base station itself covers my whole house with fantastic signal and my house is a ~2500 sqft 1970s split-level. The satellite is placed on a far edge of my home to ensure best coverage, but it isn't necessary. Your home would benefit better than mine would from a pair.

Please try again later.You have the option of replacing your existing WiFi signal (i.e. turning of the WiFi radio in your combo device) and running strictly the Orbi's signal (recommended), or you can run the Orbi alongside your current network in Access Point mode.
