Yes. It has a bit in 4 Port switch that shows connection to the bridge. Distance Max may be about 100 depending on how many ways you have between them. Cut it in half if you do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not familiar with the Hue Bridge but if that connects via wifi or an Ethernet cable, then yes you can connect it to the Orbi router or satellite. As far as the distance, it just depends on how your set-up is at home (walls, floors, etc.). With that being said, AC3000 is pretty powerful and can be spread apart with great distance if needed. I have a 2000sqft house and I have the AC3000 system and its probably overkill as the router alone could probably blanket my home and most of my yard. However if you have a lot of wifi devices in your home, having the satellite definitely spreads out the load.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can attach Hue Bridge. I have my main on the first floor and satellite on second floor. I get same speeds everywhere!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes you can connect a hue bridge, satellite has ethernet out ports just like a regular router. The 2 units can be quite far apart, I have mine spaced from far left corner upstairs to far right corner downstairs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have one connected to mine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can connect a Hue bridge to either a satellite or the main router with no issues! The placement of the Hue Bridge will depend quite a bit on Hue's requirements and your wireless environment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Both the base and the remote have 4 ports on the back for wired access. If the Wifi is enabled on the Bridge, it should connect fine to either the 2.4 or 5ghz bands. As for the distance, that is dependent on what's in the way between them. Concrete, steel, copper, etc... can all limit wireless ranges. Mine are probably 50 feet and 2 floors apart wood and drywall construction in the house, and they initially connected fine. I decided to go wired for my interlink, so I didn't leave them configured with a wireless interlink. But while it was set up, it was fine at that distance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You shouldn't have to worry about the main router vs the satellite. It all appears as one network to other wifi devices. If you installed as directed, you should have coverage throughout your house. Simply connect the wifi device to the network without concern for primary or satellite.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don’t know about the Phillips hub connectivity specifically but my old Wi-Fi system consisted of two separate routers linked together & worked fine until I started maxxing out bandwidth - that’s why I upgraded. The units are about 2 rooms apart and I have good signal strength as far out as the edge of the property
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about the Phillips Hue Bridge, but we have a satellite set up next door, through about 4 walls and 75 - 100 feet away and it works great.
