No. You will need the modem from someone, either Verizon or buy a new one (I suggest buying your own to get any decent speeds). This is a WiFi router only. You have to plug this into a modem to get internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't have Verizon, but, I just installed Spectrum and their 100 mbps internet. I installed an Orbi RBK50-100NA router/satellite system to replace the new Spectrum router. Netgear makes Orbi systems to fit many different areas/spaces. You can customize the number of satellites to fill your space. I used a router and 1 satellite to fill my 3 floor condo (with lots of usage in the basement). It was easy to set up and it works great. I saw online that I could bridge the Orbis to work with the existing very good router that was just installed but I am not that technical.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It amplifies it. Your Verizon modem / router connects to Orbi most likely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you will still need a modem from your isp to use this
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will replace the router. The main Orbi is the router and the second one is a satellite.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have the option of replacing your current router and strictly running the Orbi system (recommended), or you can run the Orbi alongside it in Access Point mode. It simply needs a direct Ethernet connection to your home's modem. Instructions for setting up the Orbi in AP mode are located beginning on page 83 of the User Manual: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/RBK50#docs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you will still need a modem but this replaces your WiFi router and does a good job.
