Get multiple units of orbi or another mesh network provider and place them on each level of the house. Will change your life.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi, Jujubee: It really depends on the specifications of your current router (i.e. supported speeds, coverage area, obstacles, etc). The RBK50 Orbi router system was designed to break through traditional barriers to blanket your coverage area under a single, powerful, Tri-band mesh network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is best to have comcast fix your internet connection a new router can't fix the data streaming to your house.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I never use the Comcast supplied routers except for my landline. If you do the math, you can buy your own routers, in my case Aris and Orbi, for about the cost of rental for 2 years from Xfinity. The drawback is you have to provide your own support, Comcast won't help if a problem comes up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I say yes. It also depends on how much bandwidth you have though through your carrier.
