Get multiple units of orbi or another mesh network provider and place them on each level of the house. Will change your life.

If you do the math, you can buy your own routers, in my case Aris and Orbi, for about the cost of rental for 2 years from Xfinity. The drawback is you have to provide your own support, Comcast won't help if a problem comes up.
