• You do not need a smartphone to set this up. Access the router controls via computer.

• I used the Orbi app to set up my RBK50 system. However, you can go to orbilogin.com and create an account and set up your system. BTW, you’ll need to do the orbilogin thing to make any configuration changes to the Orbi router.
