Longer answer: Orbi units only transmit WiFi signals at your location, and are not directly part of the process of receiving the internet signal transmitted by your satellite system. Think of the satellite as the pipeline delivering Internet to your location, which is then fed through a modem, and from that modem to an integral or separate wireless access point that broadcasts with WiFi within your location. The Orbi wireless access point can provide very fast WiFi speeds within your location but will not somehow speed up the pipeline that that delivers internet to your location.

While no router can improve your existing speed plans or connection to your ISP (you would need to contact your ISP for those), the Orbi can help you make the most of what you currently receive and you may see an overall improvement across all connected devices if your current router is limited in coverage area, ability to handle your quantity of connected devices, wireless speeds, etc.
