“So comcast has a monopoly going at the apartments I'm living in, my question is can I use this instead as my internet service and completely cancel comcast? The only devices I use for Internet is an amazon firestick, my tablet and phone and a laptop.”

No. You still need a service (Comcast) to supply internet connectivity. This system creates a wireless network that connects you to that service provider.
