“My house is 2 stories apprx 2700 sqft. My Verizon Gateway router is on 1st level right side of house. My 2nd level gets spotty to no WIFI signal at all. Will the 1 router and 1 satellite fix this issue?”

Yes - it should. I was in the same situation with spotty coverage upstairs, in the garage and porch ... but now i get great coverage with just the router and one satellite.
