“I currently have satellite internet (I have a 25 meg package, but only achieve about 15-18 megs) and it's fine as for "surfing the Net". My son has lagging while trying to play his Xbox One. Would something like this correct that issue?”

It solved our same problem with my son’s PlayStation ... he was constantly complaining re lagging but Orbi fixed that problem and is very fast - everyone happy now!

Maybe try to hardwire the Xbox to the internet with a patch cable; may help some, but ultimately the speed is too slow for gaming

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not. If your service is slow, then the Orbi is not going to make it faster. The Orbi will only help if your router is not capable of maxing out your connection speed or if you are not getting good wi-fi signal where your devices are.

You need about 45 mbps to have a decent experience. If their is a DSL or better yet, a cable ISP option in your area, you need to switch. Those that are on satellite internet usually go with that service as it’s the only option of providers.

It can only help you get the most out of your current subscribed speeds.
