• This router does not have a modem built in, so you will still need the modem.

• The RBK50 Orbi router system is strictly a Tri-band mesh network router system and does not contain a modem. It is compatible with virtually all modems, however, via direct Ethernet connection.

• This model will not replace your modem but there is a different Orbi model that has a built in modem. I don’t have AT&T so I can’t speak about how it would work with that. It works great with my 400 mb service with Spectrum.
