Netgear says a maximum of 3. However, there have been reports of some people have reported successfully using up to 4.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I may be mistaken; but I believe you can add however many you need to with the mesh systems like this. I would place the main router as centrally as you can in the system though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One on each floor should cover everything fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Three devices total.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The latest Orbi firmware supports satellite daisy chain configuration. It’s useful so the furthest satellites don’t need to in range of the Orbi router as long as it can connect to a nearer satellite.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you go to the Net Gear website, and look up the Orbi, this question is answered on their website based on square footage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's aproximatley 2000 square foot per device, so 5?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.5
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the literature says a maximum of 4. Just know that the hardware feels kind of flimsy. You may have some better commercial options out there for what you are looking to achieve.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Each device (router and satellite) will cover approximately 2,000 sq. ft. (i.e. router alone for approx. 2,000 sq. ft, router + one satellite for approx 4,000 sq. ft., etc). The router will need to be centrally located with each satellite connecting to it directly (satellites cannot be "daisy chained" to each other).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
