Pete, there are many variables that influence the range of the ORBI outdoor satellite. Distance from the other components of the wireless network is one. Home construction: # of walls and materials. Input speed to your router. Competition (traffic & interference) on the different channels. We have approximately 300 - 350 mbps to the router. Using the outdoor satellite just outside of our house,linked to 2 other satellites and a router in our house, we get between 5 - 15 mbps at the end of our pool 60 feet from our house. 15 is good enough to stream video. FWIW we have an RBR50. Hope this helps!
