QuestionI'm trying to design a mesh system which covers our house and 2 barns. What's the maximum linear distance this unit can be from the source Orbi router? I have an RBR20. Also, what's the maximum linear distance this unit will broadcast a signal?

- Answer Pete, there are many variables that influence the range of the ORBI outdoor satellite. Distance from the other components of the wireless network is one. Home construction: # of walls and materials. Input speed to your router. Competition (traffic & interference) on the different channels. We have approximately 300 - 350 mbps to the router. Using the outdoor satellite just outside of our house,linked to 2 other satellites and a router in our house, we get between 5 - 15 mbps at the end of our pool 60 feet from our house. 15 is good enough to stream video. FWIW we have an RBR50. Hope this helps!

QuestionIs this Outdoor AC3000 compatible with the Netgear WIFI 6 AC 6000 system?

- Answer It should work with Nighthawk and other WiFi 6 systems in extender mode. It just won’t work with Orbi WiFi 6 systems. I use it in extender Mode outside of my Orbi WiFi 6 system on a separate network not used by the Orbi WiFi 6 system and it works great.

QuestionHi- We live in an area of N.J. that has spotty wifi. We just installed a screen and projector in our backyard, about 70-80 feet from our in-home Xfinity router, only to learn that the wifi was not strong enough to use. Would this fix our problem?
