• I used it with my apple airport express for a long while. It worked great. Now I'm using it with a new lynksys router (bell in owns them now) and have no problems.

• It is compatible with any router or router/modem combo that outputs on a wired ethernet connection.

• This kind of devices are agnostic of modem brand. What you should consider is the speed you want to spread in your mesh. If your modem is not gigabit capable, it is not useful to go to this model as you will never reach the 1200Mbps and lower speed are cheaper.
