I have used these before with a multiplug adaptor. As long as it does not have a surge protetor built in, I think it will work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The product plugs into the 3 prong wall jack and then you can plug your surge protector into it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it can. The issue with the surge protector is that it interrupts the data transfer and doesn't make for a stable connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Maybe, the biggest reasons you cannot plug into a surge protector is because there limit what can be sent through it. Now with that said if your 3 way adapter has surge suppression, then no it cannot, although if it just splits the electric then maybe. But remember you have ohm's law to deal with. I=V/Z where Z is the impedance of the circuit and V and I are the RMS or effective values of the voltage and current. Associated with the impedance Z is a phase angle, so that even though Z is the also the ratio of the voltage and current peaks, the peaks of voltage and current do not occur at the same time. The phase angle is necessary to characterize the circuit and allow the calculation of the average power used by the circuit. So the short answer, only if the circuit allows the total power being drawn from the 3 plug extension.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Correct, adapter must plug directly into wall power connection. However you can plug surge protector into adapter with connections on power bar for other devices including the Internet modem..
