As far as I know - as long as your sharing the same wiring the distance makes no difference. This product makes the internet signal available via the house wiring not a wireless signal.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should. I use the same type of device, made by Linksys, and run from the house to garage. 200 feet or so. The only issue is that you may have to try different outlets so that both devices are on the same "hot" leg of your electrical service. I was very surprised at the performance.
