• There are two adapters in the box. Plug one into your router and the other into your computer. With this in mind the answer is yes.

• the package comes with two devices: one to connect your router/modem to (in room A, wherever router is), and one to connect your computer to (in room B, your bedroom). other than plugging stuff in, there is really no other set up, it is very easy.

• Yes as long as you plug the other end and ethernet into your core router. There is no real programming needed for this to work.

• One of them would plug into the wall outlet near the modem with an ethernet cable from the modem going to the device. The other one would plug into the wall outlet in your room and have an ethernet cable plugged into it with the other end of the ethernet cable plugged into your laptop.
