Just one. The instructions included with the pair in the box explain. There is a procedure to add an adapter to an existing secure power line subnet. It is quite simple. Secure means someone can't sneak on your network by plugging a power line adapter into say an outside power receptacle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely! You can continue to add "locations" by just adding more adapters. The set up would be the same. If you created a "secured connextion" then you will have to do that as welll for the additional adapters. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.John, Your question is a little confusing. But if I get the general idea of what you asking. If you have a pair of these already do you need another pair to have it working on the second computer. First I would not recommend using two sets of these in the same house for fear of possible interference. It basically turns your house hold wiring into a connection. I would recommend using wireless or just running the cable vs using two. Final answer would be I do not believe it will work due how the adapters work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I didn’t need another one plugged into the modem. just plugged another unit into an electrical circuit. unfortunately it only really made a difference when you have wired setup like a gaming console not an iPad
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you can use as many as you want since you are using your wired outlets to extend the wifi through your house to other devices. Range extenders help also and are not wired to your device, but put the wifi in the air.
