“I actually have this router & am currently using a Cat-5e. The internet works great, but I'm paying for 100mbps and getting 26mbps through the router. I get 105mbps directly connected to the modem. Firmware is updated. Would a different cable help?”

I had this same problem. I solved it by disabling the QOS function (called "Media Prioritization" in the web interface). Changing cables should make no difference, as Cat-5e is more than enough cable for the throughput you will get.

Please try again later.I have tried both wired & wireless connection; Wired will be faster, and I have speed tested using all the internet providers sites in my area, none of them gives the same reading for download or upload speed. When I spoke with my specific internet provider they say their site is providing 100 but maybe the web site that I connect to is slow or that my computer/laptop cannot handle a faster speed. Somehow I do not believe them.....
