You can set a password, and with the software from her head you can select device and block them. If your laptop will not connect to your current router you first need to find out why, try taking it to best buy to make sure it is functioning properly
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have you kept up with the updates for the router? Yes, you can change the settings regarding interference & password blocking. You'll have to go into the settings & take a few minutes to adjust it to your liking, even utilize the timers for devices you don't use often, but want to keep connected. I have everything locked down so the neighboring businesses, & other poachers cannot even detect the device. After doing all of that try to reconnect your laptop & see if you have any luck. Also, & this might sound redundant, but changing your passwords & admin passwords every 3 months is something I make a habit of... Hope this helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your problem is most likely the fault of the download speed provided by your Internet Service Provider. Additionally, the more items you use within your home, the higher the download speed that is needed. Either run a Speed Test on your WIFI download speed or check with your provider. If your running an HD TV plus computers and cellphones, you'll need about 20 megs download speed. If you have a 4k TV, you'll need a minimum of 26 megs.
