I have an Apple iPad & the router connected to it very easily. I did not need to dig out my laptop & use a cd in order to setup this router & its wifi network. I was able to set it all up very easily.

No cd or dvd. Just hook up the netgear and turn on a device to customize the settings (like a laptop, smart phone or computer). Very easy to setup and the manual was easy to read. If you need help, contact netgear...

It works with apple and you do not need to load a cd no computer needed set it up with my iPad

Yes. It works well with my iMac. I did not load a from a CD. The router comes with a network already set up and gives you the password. I went to the maintenance logon, signed in, and simply changed the network Id and password. It was very easy.
