If so then yes. What you need is an ethernet cable to connect the router to your modem. Then you need another ethernet cable to connect your router to the laptop/computer. If you have already set up your wifi, it will still function. Your locally connected computer will enjoy faster internet speed, while other devices connected to the wifi will be a little slower.
