• This will replace the WiFi portion of the Xnfinity device but not the Modem portion of the device they supply. You would need a cable modem in combination with this router.

• No, it does not replace your cable modem. Frankly, I am not sure this device would replace any current $100 wifi router.

• No, this device does not replace any Comcast Xfinity device. This device is used to broadcast Wi-Fi from any internet that doesn't have a built in Wi-Fi in their equipment
