“Will it create a stronger signal that would help connect to tv in next room? I have a new roku 1 in family room connected to tv. It will not connect to Wi-Fi on same wall in next room? I wonder if it will strengthen signal in order to connect. Also is Roku 2 and 3 stronger in power that would be more apt to make the connection?”

Yes it will. Really helped my connection to my blu ray player in my bedroom.

I have a Sony streaming device that would connect but would keep freezing (modem is in the next room). I haven't had this issue since connecting to the wifi extender. My opinion get it if doesn't fix it return it.

Please try again later.That is the same reason I got this product, it didn't really help my situation and my wifi router isn't even that far from my device in the first place. I recommend talking to your internet provider and see if they can fix the strength of your internet or swap out your router.
