the hardest part was the initial setup.... you have to be close to the router and get a good connetion. then when you move the unit it will connect again fairly easily. follow mfg instructions and it works. I have a large house where there is distance between roter and office .opposite end of the house and on different floors. this item has eliminated all wifi drop-offs. total worth the money.

I have a Comcast modem and they said that with changing several modem settings I could use it in my house. However I had just gotten Comcast and had never tested the speed in my office. I just assumed it would be as slow as the AT&T service that I used to have. Well, I tested the speed and got 60 mg/sec down and 10.8 up. I repositioned my desk and reception speed went up to 178.2 mg/sec and upload speed was up to 14 mb/sec. If you have a slow internet connection, try changing over to Comcast/Xfinity and you'll be happy. Oh, the extenders, I returned them to the store.
