Yes. I had the same issue. This was the fix

This is a wifi extender. It will only extend your local wifi. If you have a large house and there are rooms that have poor coverage you can put it between the main wireless access device and the room you are having trouble with and it will extend your coverage. It won't get you any more speed that what you already have. This has nothing to do with TV picture. Only local wireless network.
