• Yes it can because mines my wifi extended is 50 feet from the modem and it lets me connect to my laptop, amazon firestuck, my phone and Xbox with fast connection. The setup is really easy to do.

• It was quite easy to set up and as long as you plug it in near your tv it will solve your dropped connection issues.
