Does this run with an app? null

No, it does not run with an app. You just plug it into a wall socket and then connect it to your router with WPS. I would recommend connecting it in the same room as your router then moving it to where you want to extend your wifi. Hope this helps.

An app is not necessary for this device to work. However, the Netgear Genie app is useful to show tou everything related to your network.
