I was looking at the night owl security system. I am running a Verizon hotspot for internet so no router. Will this work to plug into the nightowl and get Wi-Fi from my hotspot. There is no where to plug into the hotapot directly. null

I don't see why not. You can hook the extender up to your connection using your phone. All it looks for is a wifi network.

this will do exactly as you are looking to do. it will connect to your wifi and give you an ethernet port to connect to your security system. it just has to be within range of the hotspot to receive the wifi.
