Yes it would. You need to find an outlet you can plug it into about halfway between where your router is and your room in the basement and it will extend the internet to you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It works in my basement. I have a basement bedroom, and the extender is able to provide service to my bed (something I didn’t have before). The set-up instructions have the extender placed within the range of the router. It uses lights to indicate if there’s sufficient signal strength at a given outlet. Set-up was pretty easy.
