- Answer I am using my unit in a back bedroom which is about the same distance. This is probably close to the range limit of this extender.

QuestionOur router is downstairs 15 ft in the next room is range extender, upstairs my computer is plugged into this extender with a cable. When the upstairs extender is on, our laptop has a hard time connecting. when off it connects easier. why?
