You would have to upgrade your cable modem to get the fastest speeds, I had to do it with cox
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Due to DOCSIS being updated to 3.0 in some areas, your MODEM will need to be upgraded to get the speeds you are paying for. NOT the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It supports up to 300+ Mbps so it will support the speeds because as of right now, residential areas haven't really gotten past 200 yet. But it will support the fast speeds.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They mean your modem not the converter box for the TV. Your Netgear WNR2000 is just a Wifi Router connected to your Comcast supplied modem. You very likely are paying for higher speeds than your present modem can supply. No, it won't interfere with your TV and internet. In fact you probably are not getting full use of your Wireless N router. I had to do the same thing a few years ago.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to update your older cable modem. With the increase in speed from the cable company you need to update the hardware in order to take advantage of the new service. You have 2 devices providing your internet service. You have to cable modem and then you have your WNR2000 which is your network router and wireless transmitter. You can keep your WNR2000 but should upgrade the cable modem to a docsis 3.0. The cable modem is not your cable box that connects to your tv. But they both come in on the same cable but split to provide your tv and internet. The cable company will give you a free one or you could buy your own like this.. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/netgear-ethernet-docsis-3-0-high-speed-cable-modem-black/8860013.p?id=1219375114664&skuId=8860013 Hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Your upgraded modem from your cable company will replace this router, as it will have its own wireless router built in.
