Yes. I am using a N300 on one of my static addresses and don't have any problems with Kindles, I-Pads, I-Phone or Android phones. May be either the modem dropping the DHCP to the router or possibly a bad router. Also, try replacing the CAT5 cable between the modem and the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should. Make sure you disable the WiFi on your Frontier Modem (DSL, I'm guessing, since this is Frontier?), then hook this one up, or you'll get even worse WiFi as they compete with each other. Your problem could be your DSL modem, or your placement in the house, or interference from other devices.... This is a good enough basic WiFi router that should do the job if you don't have radio interference problems in your house. Microwave ovens can drive WiFi crazy, so can some cordless phones... If you can determine that is is something you're doing with either of those kinds of devices at the time your WiFi drops, then even a new WiFi router won't help you. Make sure you upgrade the firmware and change the admin password after you set this wifi router up!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but you will all ways have problems if you have 2 devices with wifi signal on there they will fight with each other. Just buy your own modem it's saves money in the long wrong.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have the same modem and I have no problems running it with it. I would recommend hooking up the router to the modem with a CAT5/6 wire and then using just the router for everything.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes ,will work make sure to turn off wireless on the other router don't want the two routers competing for same airspace. You can search how to piggyback routers for more detailed information.
