• You would set a password. A default password is already installed. You could keep that or change it to your own unique password once you set it up.

• you should be able to set a password on your wifi connection. As long as you don't give the password to you neighbor they wont be abel to connect to the wifi

• Make sure you have your router locked, so a password is needed to get on your net. You will need to go online. Type 192.168.1.1 in the address and hit enter. This should get you into the router setup screen. You can also read your instructions or go to Belkin's website. I'm sure you can find something on You Tube also.

• Add a password to protect it. You can add a password for not only the main access point, but for the guest access as well.
