• Verizon will not support any routers except for theirs

• This works fine with Verizon FIOS (I hate using their routers, don't trust them). I use piles of Netgear routers and am very happy with them.

• It should work with any stateside Internet provider. Just run an Ethernet cable from the MODEM to the router's Internet port to make its wired ports and wireless capability hot.
