I first would like to know how they are providing wifi for your apartment. If they have a CAT5/6 wire coming in then all you would need to do is connect that to the back of the router and then you should be all set, if not then could you please clarify by what you mean by they provide complementary WIFI please.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No Lilly. you should be able to connect a Ethernet cable from the wall jack and plug it straight in with no problems. I would check with what Internet service provider is provided however and register the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Charter internet and this router works for me. I don't think the company service matters with this router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.not sure of the question. if there is a modem already in the apartment provided by the landlord then you have internet in the apartment. The addition of a router would just give you a wireless signal thoughout the appartment. There is usually no charge for the router by the service provider, but you have to purchase it from bestbuy or other vendor and install your self. Usually you have to buy or rent a modem however. Rent from the Internet service provider (isp) or buy from a retail vendor. If you buy the modem, just make sure it is on the list of approved Modem models for your isp. If the wireless signal already exists from a source outside the apartment, then the only thing needed is a laptop or pc or smart phone that is capable of receiving wireless signals. Thus you would not need a router in that case. hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This router connects to existing wireless networks. There is not a company or fee associated with using this router.
