“Is this strictly for cans or will wine bottles fit either standing up or laying down?”

• Yes, it holds wine bottles laying down on the bottom of the unit. You could stand them up but you would have to remove several shelves and loose storage for cans

• The shelves are removable so the fridge will accommodate wine bottles and any other tall beverage container.
