• Not sure what you mean by “built in cabinet space”. Look at the photo I uploaded. You will see ours installed in between cabinets in our dry bar area of our kitchen. The trim pieces have yet to be installed around the cooler. Hope this answers your question.

• I have mine built into a wet bar. There used to be an ice maker which I never used, it was almost a perfect fit with the exception of having to add a 1/2" trim to close a gap at the top.It is installed on the right side of the picture
