Hello. The Dash Cam itself is wireless as it goes straight into the Click&Go PRO Mount, meaning it can be removed at any time. The power itself goes straight into the mount. This is either via the supplied 12V car power cable, or can be hardwired into the fuse box using the Nextbase Hardwire Kit. Thanks, Nextbase
