• I purchased a 32GB SD card and after a week of recording I format the SD to easily erase anything not worth keeping.

• The Nextbase Dash Cams record in continuous loops, so the oldest footage will get over written by the newest footage. How much footage is recorded depends on the size of your SD card. The larger the SD card= the more footage stored. We recommend re-formatting the SD card every 2-3 weeks to prolong the life of the SD card and this can be easily done via the Dash Cam itself.
